Why are there so many names for the ranch: Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly, Mo-Ranch Conference Center, Mo-Ranch Presbyterian Conference Center, Mo-Ranch?
When purchased in 1949, Mo-Ranch was named Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly. Some people find that Mo-Ranch Conference Center is more descriptive than Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly. Others find that Mo-Ranch Presbyterian Conference Center best defines who we are. Some people prefer the simplicity of just Mo-Ranch. Officially, we are Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly, but through usage, we are known by many names and we try to answer to all of them!
