Mo-Ranch accepts a limited number of volunteers each year to work on assigned projects and tasks, which enhance the quality of service and/or facilities and grounds. When your application is received, it is reviewed by the Volunteer Program Coordinator, and assignments are determined based on the experience and skills possessed by the volunteer(s), the length of the visit, and the availability of projects. Volunteers are scheduled according to the needs of Mo-Ranch. If there are no projects available that meet the skills of the volunteer applicant, they are given the option to assist a different area of the ranch or reschedule their visit. Volunteers who have skills or experience in several areas may be asked to share their talents with different departments during their stay.
There are a variety of areas and projects for which we ask assistance from our volunteers:
Maintenance Projects
Landscaping
Food Service Department
Campground Projects
Library Organization/Cleaning

Housekeeping Department
Gardening
Gift Shop
Computer Data Entry

Please keep in mind that there will not always be an available project in the area requested by the volunteer. The volunteer may be asked to assist another department or even consider coming to the ranch at another time. That is why we ask would-be volunteers to submit their applications to our Volunteer Program Coordinator as far in advance of their visit as possible.
