Amy and Derek

Amy and Derek currently serve Westminster Presbyterian Church in Akron, Ohio as associate pastor and head of staff, respectively. They met and married while at Princeton Theological Seminary, and then moved to Denver, Colorado, where Derek served Central Presbyterian Church as associate pastor and acting head of staff. In Denver, Amy worked as a freelance writer and now writes a regular column entitled "Faithful Parenting" for Horizons magazine. After moving to Akron in 2006 when Derek was called to Westminster, Amy served as the part time solo pastor of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church before becoming associate pastor at Westminster in 2011. Amy and Derek have three children: Sarah (7), Quinn (5), and George (2).
