Digital Photography—Beyond the Basics with Brian K. Loflin
Turn off the “auto” function on your camera and take control of your digital SLR! Veteran photographer Brian Loflin will lead the class through both outdoor exploration of photographic technique as well as editing and organizing your digital photos on your computer.

Artistic Welding with Susan Montagna
Don’t let the art of welding intimidate you. Let artist and metal worker Susan Montagna teach you how to make vibrant, meaningful projects using steel. Materials will be provided, but please bring a work shirt, pants and boots.

Jewelry with Jim Morris (Advanced/Intermediate)
With more than 30 years of experience, jewelry designer and craftsman Jim Morris can help you take your jewelry designs from paper to completion. An Art@Mo favorite, Jim will teach sawing, soldering, forging, finishing, stone-setting and polishing.
Participants must have previously taken Jewelry with Jim at Art at Mo or contact the program office at program@moranch.com to enroll in the course.

Beginner Jewelry with Jean Cofer
This course will explore the properties of non-ferrous metals (silver and copper) and how to manipulate and form these metals into functional/ wearable art. We will explore soldering, sawing, and hammering. No experience necessary.

Stained Glass with Kris Wessale
Allow the beauty of stained glass to become your own creative outlet. Retired educator and artist Kris Wessale will show you how to select and cut glass, use copper foil or lead, sodering your piece and framing the finished piece. Patterns and materials will be provided.

Pottery with Barb Francis – New Kilns!
From hand-building to throwing on the wheel, from pinch pots to slab construction, teacher Barb Francis will show you the joys and challenges of pottery first-hand. Wear clothes that can get dirty and plan on extra class time toward the beginning of the week to allow pieces adequate drying or firing time.

Quilting with Connie Watkins
With more than 20 years of quilting experience, Connie Watkins can show you how to bring your ideas from idea to completion. Bring your sewing machine, tools and fabrics, as well as a project to work on. The class also includes a field trip to a wonderful local quilt shop.

Watercolor with Joan Salvant
Professional watercolorist Joan Salvant will shed light on techniques with paint for everyone from beginners to experienced painters. With her hands-on teaching methods, Joan will cover drawing and watercolor technique as well as do demonstrations.
