ELP: What Do I Bring?

Bedding
Cabins are heated or air conditioned just enough to take the edge off of the outside temperatures. They do not stay at average home comfort levels.
  • 1 pillow and pillowcase
  • 1 set of twin sheets
  • 1 heavy blanket or 1 sleeping bag
  • Clothing
    Be prepared for any weather, and to be outside in it. Layering is the key and always bring more than you need. Group leaders or participants will not be allowed to wear offensive or inappropriate clothing. Midriff shirts, tank tops and short shorts are not appropriate for the active programs you will be participating in.

  • sweatshirt or sweater
  • pajamas
  • light jacket or wind breaker
  • raincoat or poncho
  • cap or hat
  • water shoes, sandals with a heel strap, or old pair tennis shoes (for all river activities - no Crocs)
  • comfortable tennis or hiking shoes
  • shower thongs
  • bathing suit and swimming towel
  • If wintertime:
  • wool cap
  • gloves or mittens
  • extra socks
  • heavy coat
  • scarf
