ELP: Group Leader Responsibilities

Mo-Ranch requires all Groups to bring one adult Group Leader for each activity group and one additional adult Group Leader to be available for special situations such as behavior problems or medical emergencies. We suggest that Groups bring enough Group Leaders to have two adults per dorm section. High School students in mentoring or service organizations often work well as additional Group Leaders. The American Camp Association suggests the following adult staff-to-camper ratios:

The American Camp Association also suggests that minor aged group leaders be at least two years older than the participants they are supervising.
The required number of Group Leaders attend free of charge. Additional Group Leaders will be charged for meals and lodging only.
